I consider it as a great privilege to introduce and welcome you all to Viswabharathi College of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation located at R.T. Nagar, Penchikalapadu, Kurnool. Our College is run by the Viswabharathi Educational Society under the leadership and aegis of our honorable & beloved Founder & Chairman, a pioneer and a visionary Shri. Dr. D. Kantha Reddy garu, who is very much interested in paving the path for the young coming generation of passionate & dedicated healthcare professionals to serve the society at large. Viswabharathi College of Physiotherapy & rehabilitation is functioning with the entire needed infrastructure and the gadgets for teaching & research in the Discipline of Physiotherapy. Presently we are offering Undergraduate Program (UG) Bachelor of Physiotherapy [BPT] a four-and-half year [4 years & 6 months] duration course program including compulsory Rotatory Internship, with the Masters Program (PG) Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] in the upcoming years shortly.
We provide the students a very conducive environment to pursue their career & live their dreams. The students are exposed to various teaching modules not only in the form of regular classroom teaching, seminars, lectures but also CMEs, workshops and they are encouraged to participate in the hands-on training both academics & research activities. Along these the students also participate in extra-curricular & cultural activities, events that are designed to help students & hone their talents & to discover themselves. This helps in the overall development professionally & personally to be enriched in their body, mind & soul.
Our students for their clinical training are posted at our 1200 bedded Viswabharathi General Hospital as well as 100 bedded Viswabharathi Super Specialty Hospitals where there get vast clinical exposure and get hands-on practice in order to cultivate the sensitive & healing touch to the patients. We often do community programs under the Community Based Rehabilitation [CBR] Training.
We provide the Physiotherapy education with the perspective of creating the student as a world-class Clinician and a competent Physiotherapist.
